Rubex™ HAPB offers a unique approach to the need for a Pumpable Butyl material in the manufacturing environment. Most suppliers of Pumpable Butyl sealants use 10-15% of highly volatile solvents to reduce the viscosity of the sealant. This creates flammability and health and safety issues for end user of the product.

Rubex Inc. has developed a product which uses heat to reduce the viscosity of the material to allow for controlled dispensing into the target joint and/or seam. Upon cooling, Rubex™ HAPB thickens to a 100% solids, Non-Skinning, Non-Sag, Non-Drying butyl sealant.
